Founded in 2018, U.S.-based Tradespace supports approximately 80 companies worldwide with its Tradespace platform, which uses AI to integrate and manage the entire intellectual property (IP) lifecycle. Founder and CEO Alec Sorensen observed during his time as a management consultant that many high-tech companies failed to recognize the true value of their own IP. After leading a $250 million IP commercialization deal, he became convinced
that an intelligent system was necessary to treat IP as a core business asset. The company is now actively entering the Japanese market, proposing AI-driven IP management to Japanese firms
