Laurent Pierucci named Operations Director of Synerlink
PARIS — June 6, 2023 — BW Packaging’s Synerlink, the industry-leading manufacturer of filling equipment for rigid packaging in the dairy and food markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Laurent Pierucci to the role of Operations Director. The newest member of Synerlink’s leadership team, he will oversee the company’s operations in five of its six locations in France, working toward better serving customers through continuous improvement in engineering processes, design reviews, project execution and other areas.
“We are thrilled to have Laurent join our team,” said Jean-Félix Lesueur, President and CEO of Synerlink. “His significant experience, in-depth knowledge and entrepreneurial mindset will provide a pragmatic framework for our organization, and will have a positive impact both on people and performance.”
Laurent brings more than 25 years of manufacturing industry experience to his new role, most recently serving as Sole Manager and Shareholder at ICM Automation, a French manufacturer of high-speed assembly machines for dispensing systems in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. During his time there, he headed up design process optimizations and supported the development of specialized packaging machinery. Before his 9 years at ICM, he spent more than 16 years at Saint-Gobain, a French manufacturer and distributor of construction materials. He held several leadership positions at the company, including Business Unit Director from 2011 to 2013, Industrial Director from 2010 to 2011 and Western Europe Manager for Industrial Development from 2006 to 2010.
“I’m very excited to be a part of the team at Synerlink, an organization that prioritizes its people,” said Laurent. “As Operations Director, I will ensure our people remain a top priority as we tackle our customer projects and organizational goals.”
In addition to his operational responsibilities, Laurent will focus on developing and recognizing Synerlink’s team through training and coaching, while also seeking out new talent where gaps exist. He is already bringing his deep experience in engineering, leadership and change management to his role, and he is enjoying helping team members deliver on the trust that food and dairy customers place in them every day.
Synerlink creates world-class solutions for cup-filling, bottle-filling, rotary electronic-filling and form-fill-seal rigid packaging by bringing together some of the industry’s most trusted brands, including Arcil, Dairy Pack and Hema.
