Parkside joins the party at London coffee festival

Sustainable flexible packaging solutions specialist, Parkside, has announced it will exhibit at The London Coffee Festival on the 20th – 23rd of April. The self-proclaimed ‘biggest coffee party on earth’ will happen at the contemporary Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, London.

Parkside understands that sustainability is a worldwide hot topic, and nowhere more so than in the world of packaging. As demand for environmentally responsible packaging solutions, such as recyclable, renewable, and compostable packs, continues to grow, packaging converters like Parkside are innovating to ensure sustainability meets functional performance.

Parkside is committed to providing sustainable packaging solutions that meet product needs via its seven pillars of sustainability: reduce, remove, recycle, renewable, reuse, waste reduction, and carbon footprint. As a specialist in sustainable flexible packaging solutions, Parkside offers a broad range of flexible formats, from coffee pouches and quad bags to flow wraps and sachets.

Visitors to the London Coffee Festival can meet Parkside’s expert team and view its full range of sustainable packaging applications across the coffee, tea, snack bar, confectionery, and crisp markets, and much more. Parkside will showcase its Park2Nature™ compostable coffee packs, which are currently on shelves for Dark Woods and The Coffee Factory brands. Parkside’s market-leading range of compostable coffee packaging is accredited for home compostability; the packs decompose within 26 weeks at ambient temperatures and have the added options of a certified industrially compostable zipper &/or valve.

In addition, Parkside will display applications from its recently launched recyclable Recoflex™ mono-polymer range, a high barrier polyethylene (PE) and an ultra-high barrier metallised polypropylene PP material. Both the Recoflex materials are available in duplex and triplex laminates, offer excellent barriers to oxygen and water and are recyclable at store-front soft plastic collection points. For sustainable packaging with a natural look and feel, Parkside’s Recoflex metallised paper is the ideal choice. The paper solution is suitable for applications requiring excellent grease and moisture barriers and is designed to fit with current paper recycling regulations.

Whatever the coffee application, Parkside can provide a sustainable packaging solution to complement any sustainable brand strategy. Visitors are invited to call on Parkside at (G1) stand no G06A to learn more.
