First issued as \u201cPaper and Plastic\u201d in May 1973, we publish specialized articles for the converting industry. In consideration of developing converting technologies such as package printing, coating, laminating, slitting, etc., in April 1985, we changed the name to \u201cConvertech,\u201d a combination of the words \"COVERting and TECHnology\". Ever since, we have continued to provide information on converting technologies, materials, and products to converters and related user industries.\nIn April 1987, we held the \u201cConverting Machinery and Materials Exhibition, (CMM JAPAN),\u201d the first converting related exhibition in Japan.
