Organised by the German trade show specialists fairtrade, the 8<sup><i>th<\/i><\/sup>\u00a0edition of\u00a0agrofood &amp; plastprintpack Nigeria takes place from 28 to 30 March 2023 at the Landmark Centre in Lagos, Victoria Island.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\"><i>Here, global technology leaders from 11 countries\u202fshowcase adapted technologies and solutions for the Nigerian and West African market in the fields of agriculture, food and beverage processing, ingredients, plastics, printing and packaging.\u202fThe exhibitors come from\u00a0Belgium, China, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Nigeria, Taiwan, Turkey, Tunisia and Spain.\u00a0\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif\"><i>One of the traditional highlights at agrofood &amp; plastprintpack Nigeria being the German Pavilion, this year 21 German exhibitors will be present. The German Pavilion is presented by the German Ministry\u00a0for\u00a0Economic Affairs and Climate Action and supported by the German Trade Fair Association AUMA and the German Engineering Federation VDMA.\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Facts &amp; figures on the Nigerian agrofood &amp; plastprintpack market&nbsp;<\/strong><br><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>With \u20ac346 million, Nigeria in 2021 for the first time became the\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pressebox.de\/redirect\/ext?tu=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.agrofood-nigeria.com%2Fabout%2Ffood-bev-tech-nigeria&amp;rp=owPrJ4CsnKlit2lbFHTcPbSrNBltQL70kN41e41siqY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">largest investor in food and packaging technology in Africa<\/a>, ahead of Egypt (\u20ac341 million) and South Africa (\u20ac293 million).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>Sharp increase: Nigeria's food production has grown by 39.6% in recent years, from \u20ac26bn in 2016 to \u20ac36.3bn in 2020 and is expected to rise by 48% between 2021 and 2024, from \u20ac42.3bn to \u20ac62.6bn.
