Despite this remarkable barrier performance, the laminate is T\u00dcV certified as home compostable and breaks down in domestic compost heaps within 26 weeks at ambient temperatures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paul Lenihan, Sales Account Manager at Parkside welcomed the launch, saying, \u201cSustainable packaging doesn\u2019t have to mean a compromise in performance. You can meet your sustainability goals and have a pack that meets every functional and aesthetic need when you work with the right packaging partner and the best, most innovative materials on the market.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Liz Hird, owner of Yockenthwaite Farm, matched this enthusiasm, adding, \u201cParkside has supported us throughout our journey to help us achieve a new level of packaging sustainability. The knowledge and expertise of each member of the team have helped us achieve a pack which not only looks great but has also increased our shelf life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the Park2Nature\u00a0material can be tailored to meet very specific criteria, the high spec \u2018off-the-shelf\u2019 solution more than met Yockenthwaite\u2019s requirements.
