Together with their partner \u201cNew C\u201d, drupa is creating a new and fascinating presentation format: The five-day convention \u201cdna (drupa next age) x Imaging\u201d focuses on the great importance of imaging technologies with regard to print and communication, and brings active players in the industry together.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why do printed images have a special relevance? What will the future role of AI for photography and print products be? Which quality and sustainability requirements must be met by manufacturers and service providers? And which innovations regarding printed images promise market growth in the future? This and other relevant questions are the subject of the convention dna x Imaging<\/em>, which will be held for the first time during drupa (28 May to 7 June 2024). From 1 to 5 June 2024, international experts will offer intense inspiration sessions to provide business ideas and impulses all about images and print.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe see many shared technologies and questions, as well as markets that overlap and mutually drive each other, within the imaging and print business. Therefore, together with \u2018New C\u2019 we developed the new format dna x Imaging, which will present new prospects to the international visitors at drupa as well as concrete business potentials\u201d, says Sabine Geldermann, Director drupa, Print Technologies Messe D\u00fcsseldorf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wolfgang Heinen, CEO New C GmbH & Co KG, adds: \u201cPhotography and print have always gone together: Newspapers, magazines, photo books, packaging and much more are hardly imaginable without printed images. And the relevant technologies, too, show significant parallels. Printing an image is what makes the content relevant. What potential this has for the future will be revealed by dna x imaging.\u201d The media production company New C has decades of experience in the tech, imaging and media industry.

Theme days from image quality to sustainability
<\/strong>The first day of the convention is dedicated to \u201cImaging Artificial Intelligence: How AI defines the future of imaging and print<\/strong>\u201d. In five short impulse lectures, so-called \u201cinspiration snacks\u201d, known speakers will not only offer interesting background knowledge, but demonstrate practical inspiration of how your business can be improved by this topic. A final get-together concludes the programme each day. The further focuses of the programme on each day of the event are: \u201cTomorrow\u2019s imaging print products<\/strong>\u201d (2 June), \u201cWhat exactly is image quality \u2013 and why should I think about it?<\/strong>\u201d (3 June), \u201cSustainability as an advantage in competing<\/strong>\u201d (4 June) and \u201cInnovations as driving forces in the imaging and print markets<\/strong>\u201d (5 June).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The convention dna X Imaging will take place during drupa on the stage of the forum dna (drupa next age), which brings innovative drivers of technology and established companies together with newcomers to the industry, young talents and start-ups, and so provides impulses for the industry's direction. You can find it in the central Hall 7.0. The visit is included in the entrance fee for drupa. The conference language is English.
