{"id":3624,"date":"2023-11-08T10:08:15","date_gmt":"2023-11-08T01:08:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ctiweb.co.jp\/con\/en\/?p=3624"},"modified":"2023-11-08T10:08:15","modified_gmt":"2023-11-08T01:08:15","slug":"aquapak-appoints-plastic-pollution-expert-to-its-advisory-board","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ctiweb.co.jp\/con\/en\/aquapak-appoints-plastic-pollution-expert-to-its-advisory-board","title":{"rendered":"AQUAPAK appoints plastic pollution expert to its advisory board"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Aquapak\nPolymers Ltd, which specialises in polymer-based material technologies that can\ndeliver both performance and environmental responsibility at scale, has today\nannounced the appointment of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.port.ac.uk\/about-us\/structure-and-governance\/our-people\/our-staff\/steve-fletcher\">Steve Fletcher<\/a>, Professor of Ocean Policy and Economy at the\nUniversity of Portsmouth, to its Advisory Board.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Professor\nFletcher is also Director of<a href=\"https:\/\/www.port.ac.uk\/research\/themes\/sustainability-and-the-environment\/revolution-plastics\">&nbsp;Revolution Plastics<\/a>, the pan-university mission-driven research\ninitiative to help end plastic pollution, and Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/plasticspolicy.port.ac.uk\/\">Global\nPlastics Policy Centre<\/a>.&nbsp; He\nbrings a wealth of expertise and relevant research interests to Aquapak\u2019s\nAdvisory Board, including the interconnected challenges of plastic pollution,\nand the transition to a just and sustainable blue economy which restores marine\necosystems while sustainably benefiting from ocean resources.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Advisory Board provides advice and input to\nsupport Aquapak\u2019s management team as they embark on an exciting phase of global\ngrowth and innovation.&nbsp; This includes identifying multiple applications\nfor its Hydropol<sup>TM<\/sup> polymer\ntechnology.&nbsp; Developed and manufactured in the UK, Hydropol\u2122 is soluble,\nnon-toxic and marine safe.
