Tokyo \u2013 January 29, 2024 \u2013 TOPPAN Inc.(TOPPAN), a TOPPAN Group company and wholly owned subsidiary of TOPPAN Holdings Inc. (TYO: 7911), will participate in ProPak Philippines 2024, which will be held at the World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City, Philippines, from January 31 to February 2. Held once a year, ProPak Philippines is one of the Philippines\u2019 leading international trade events for packaging and processing. This year it is being held for the fourth time. More than 190 companies from 29 countries participated in the 2023 event, which attracted in excess of 8,000 visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
TOPPAN\u00a0will showcase GL BARRIER transparent films and a range of its cutting-edge sustainable packaging solutions to end users in the Philippine and ASEAN markets and will also present its packaging supply chain focused on the ASEAN region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In its global packaging business, the TOPPAN Group is accelerating efforts to cater to demand for sustainable solutions and establish networks facilitating local production for local consumption. The TOPPAN Group has thus far advanced its packaging business in Indonesia, Thailand, China, and other parts of Asia and established manufacturing and supply capabilities for markets in Europe and the Americas by launching operations at TOPPAN USA\u2019s Georgia Plant in April 2016. InterFlex Group, a packaging manufacturer with bases in the U.S. and U.K., joined the TOPPAN Group in 2021, and leading India-based film manufacturer TOPPAN Speciality Films and Thailand-based packaging manufacturer Majend Makcs were brought on board as consolidated subsidiaries in 2022. Most recently, the TOPPAN Group acquired Skymark Packaging, a U.K.-based manufacturer of flexible packaging centered on FMCG, in September last year. In late 2024, the TOPPAN Group plans to launch operations at a new GL BARRIER plant in the Czech Republic as it aims to strengthen manufacturing and supply networks and bolster capabilities for production in optimal locations on a global scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
