DuPont<\/a><\/strong>\u2122 Cyrel<\/a><\/strong>\u00ae Flexographic Solutions has announced today that its innovative DuPont\u2122 Cyrel\u00ae ReNew flexographic plate technology has received the Sustainability Excellence Award at the FTA Banquet, held in Milwaukee, WI, USA, on Sunday, April 26, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n

Cyrel\u00ae ReNew plates incorporate more than 50% ISCC PLUS-certified bio-circular raw materials in the photopolymer, enabling a significant reduction in reliance on virgin fossil-based resources. Built on a mass balance approach, the new solution provides traceability of renewable inputs across the value chain while aligning with circular economy principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cyrel\u00ae ReNew LSH represents the first product of the newly introduced family of Cyrel\u00ae ReNew plates. The plate brings the LED exposure technology from Cyrel\u00ae Lightning, while reducing the product\u2019s carbon footprint through the application of the mass balance methodology. As a drop-in solution, Cyrel\u00ae ReNew LSH delivers the same high-quality print performance as conventional Cyrel\u00ae Lightning LSH plates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DuPont\u2122 Cyrel\u00ae ReNew LSH plates can deliver a 15% lower product carbon footprint compared with fossil-based plates \u2013 saving approximately 83 kg CO2e per box of 10 plates, an impact comparable to growing a tree seedling for 10 years.*<\/p>\n\n\n
