【K2025Report】Transforming Composite Plastic Waste into High-Performance Mateials in 9 minutes

REPLACE (France)

French startup REPLACE, in collaboration with packaging equipment manufacturer AISA (Switzerland), has developed recycling technology that directly converts used plastics and industrial waste plastics into high-performance composites for outdoor applications. Production uses only
locally collected mixed plastic waste, without adding any virgin plastic. This is enabled by the “IPRA” machine, incorporating four patented technologies. The process takes approximately 9 minutes from raw material input to finished product, featuring a simple design with a molding temperature of about 200°C. Currently, it produces around 400kg of composite material per hour, with all production taking place in France.
