Retirement of James Siever as ERA Secretary General
The European Rotogravure Association (ERA) is announcing the retirement of its Secretary General, James Siever. Mr. Siever announced his intention to retire on December 31, 2022 to the Board of Directors at a November board meeting. The Association is pleased to announce that Stefani Dhami will serve as Secretary beginning January 1, 2023.
Mr Siever started at ERA in August 2000 and in more than 22 years of service has contributed significantly to the success of the association and thus of the entire gravure printing industry. With his distinctive management style, he became the figurehead of the association. ERA would like to thank Mr Siever for all his contributions and wishes him all the best for his future endeavours.
Stefani Dhami studied liberal arts and physical education before working in various positions in marketing communication and event organization in the entertainment, IT and automotive industry. Stefani Dhami will be in charge of the ERA secretariat, responsible for membership matters and all the activities of the Association.
Davide Garavaglia, currently Head of Gravure Product Line and General Manager of Bobst Italia, who was elected as new ERA President last year, said: «I would like to thank Mr. Siever for his long-standing contribution to our Association and, at the same time, I would like to welcome Mrs. Dhami in this new role. I am very confident that she will bring a great motivation and support to our transformation process and that she will be a very valuable partner for our members. Our goal is to improve the documentation, training and communication level for our members, as well as reaching out to new markets and co-operations with other printing institutions and I believe that Stefani is the right person to make this happen».
